On June 25, China's new generation medium launch vehicle Long March 7 made its first successful flight at the newly built Wenchang space launch site in Hainan. The success of this launch has set many new records in the history of China's space industry, and also marks a significant increase in China's ability to enter space. At 15:41 on June 26, after nearly 20 hours of flight, the scaled down return module of the multi-purpose spacecraft launched by the Long March 7 carrier rocket landed safely in the Gobi area southwest of the Dongfeng landing site. The first flight mission of the Long March 7 carrier rocket ended successfully.
